SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS – Zürich, Switzerland and Pavia, Italy

The Global Earthquake Model Foundation (GEM) is a non-profit, international effort to collaboratively improve earthquake risk assessment and understanding worldwide! In parallel with our scientific and outreach efforts, we are developing a unique, open-source software system that computes earthquake hazard, risk, and socio-economic impact. This is high-performance scientific computing at its finest, and you could be a part of it!

GEM is very well connected to the larger international open source and disaster mitigation communities, and interacting with them is just part of the experience.

We are expanding our development teams at both GEM offices to support our science and engineering efforts.

We are looking for full-time developers with energy, aptitude, and a positive attitude to help us build truly world-class software.

If you have experience with some or all of the following, we would be very interested in meeting with you!
